What better time to participated in a course on Mindfullness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) than during a pandemic? It was a Zoom course and people ranged from urban areas around Boston and Atlanta to rural areas as we live in here. We talked a lot about being present, or aware of your presence, in the moments of life. Several techniques and practices are proving helpful to me when I get too far into the future. My time in the course made me realize the benefit the place you live in can be for being mindful. My commute is easier to be mindful of than it might be on Boston’s Storrow Drive. Take a break and make sure to look around every once in a while. Be present.
