Nic Helms is Assistant Professor of British Literature at PSU, where they also teach Disability and Global Literature. Their book, Cognition, Mindreading, and Shakespeare’s Characters, applies cognitive science to Shakespeare to parse human misunderstanding, both accidental and deliberate.

For the CoLab, they organize Intersectionality Talks, a digital speaker series focused on intersectionality, culture, and the work of early career scholars.
