Re-engaging Students in the Intro STEM Classes

During the Spring 2023 semester, I trialed a 7-week student-designed, measurement-based project to reengage my students in introductory physics. This was a big success! I’ve extended this to a full-semester project for the Spring 2024 semester, and I’m experiencing the growing pains of guiding students to take ownership of the course content, the knowledge building, and the project formation.
