2021-22 CoLab Affiliate Application

We are restructuring our CoLab Affiliate program, and we hope you will be a part of it!

CoLab Affiliates are faculty and staff members (though we also have CoLab Student Affiliates: our CoSAs!) who work with and in the CoLab to help enhance teaching and learning and the culture of collegiality at PSU. To be a designated CoLab Affiliate, you must:

  • offer a program, series of events, or regular service to faculty/staff through the CoLab; or
  • offer weekly drop-in and by-appointment hours in the CoLab for faculty/staff; or
  • propose some other ongoing relationship between yourself and the CoLab that will serve faculty and staff as they focus on teaching and learning development.

CoLab Affiliates will be featured on the CoLab’s “Meet Our Team” website their services, events, and programs will be featured in our outreach campaigns. We aim to integrate our CoLab Affiliates with our team and we will encourage Affiliates to partner with us as we shape the future of teaching and learning at PSU.

Please fill out the form below with your ideas. You can also talk with CoLab Director Robin DeRosa about the possibilities before you propose. Proposals are due by 5pm on September 3, 2021.

CoLab Affiliates

For 2021-22 Applications

Name(Required)
Tell us a little bit about what you would plan to do in your role as a CoLab Affiliate for the 2021-2022 academic year.
You can request anywhere from $0 to $5000 for an annual budget from us, but please be aware our budget situation is NOT solid and we do NOT expect to have significant funds to disperse. That being said, we try to allocate most of our CoLab budget to people and programs that will make a difference, and we want to hear about it if you think our money can help PSU strengthen teaching & learning! We can’t do it alone, since we are small shop, so we count on you to help us fulfill our mission! In your request, tell us about how much CoLab financial support (if any) you would need (in dollars) and exactly what you would use it for (ie faculty and staff stipends, project materials, etc).
