I’m struggling with what is the best approach as a professor between: a) being 100% flexible given the pandemic and stress (such as no deadlines, etc.) versus b) giving students a false sense of what the real world is like. Because many bosses, clients and coworkers in the business world (where my students will end up) are not 100% flexible, even during pandemics, about these sorts of things.
