This student-led artistic workshop will discuss and explore the emerging concept of
ungrading.
In modern academia, the idea of student evaluations based solely on ability in a subject is being reconsidered. It is becoming clear that grading systems based on progress and improvement are often far more effective than those founded in student rankings and privilege. Join us on Thursday, November 21st to discuss this challenging issue, and to contribute to an artistic anthology of student perspectives reflective of grading.
We hope to gather your experience and opinions with grading, whatever they may be. There will be free food and drinks, and we will provide the art supplies. This event is open to all PSU students. With your help, we plan to consider and interrogate PSU grading systems and usher a wave of meaningful learning in these university years.
