Join Dr. Jason Charrette for a hands-on workshop to explore the use of game-based learning and role-play simulations to promote active learning, problem-solving, real-world application, collaboration and communication, and engagement and presence in the classroom. Workshop activities will include:
Immersive Experience: Participants will actively engage in a role-play simulation, experiencing firsthand the benefits of this approach for student learning.
Design Your Own Simulation: Drawing upon the workshop’s insights and participants’ disciplinary expertise, participants will design a role-play simulation for their own class(es).
