This module is for those who want to think more deeply about how the spaces they design for education can best support learners and promote justice and equity. Topics may include the decolonization of the classroom, understanding student agency, fostering co-constructive mindsets for course design, and exploring alternative assessment techniques.
It is part of the larger Design Forward program offered by the CoLab; participation is by application and all participants must also register for and attend the Design Forward Orientation module. A limited number of stipends are available for those who complete both modules.

The format for this program is asynchronous and online. Participants will receive details about how to access and participate in the program after they have applied and are accepted.
