Approaches to Generative AI in the Classroom (Series)

This four-part meeting series is aimed at faculty interested in the intersection of generative AI and teaching & learning. Each week we will focus on a particular reading/issue, emerging from the interests and concerns of participants. We will record key takeaways, questions, or ideas from each meeting with the goal of producing a resource at the end of the semester to share with the larger campus. Possible meeting topics:

  • talking to students about AI
  • creating a usable AI classroom policy
  • AI across disciplines
  • is AI resistance possible and if so what does it look like?
  • making critical choices about the use of AI for teaching and learning
