As I explored the articles this week and read some of the thoughts from fellow teachers, I realized that I want to develop a choice activity and instructional workshop early in the course that helps online students reduce anxiety about writing an academic paper by helping them scan and paraphrase.
I’m curious about how integrating an AI-generated summary that students then have to rework in their own words in response to a critical question might be able to help ease comprehension anxiety and build a bridge between that skills and writing.
In order to proceed, I’ll need to keep learning from this amazing community and do some deep dives into the topic and experiment. Looking forward to seeing what others set for goals! – Julie
