The past few semesters I have been doing my best ostrich impression.
Do they actually do that? I don’t know. But you know what I mean: watching news of ChatGPT and all the other AI tools being released and just … ignoring it.
So my goal for these next two weeks is to pull my head out of the metaphorical sand and confront some of my fears, concerns, and lack of knowledge. And then to feel comfortable with what tools I want to incorporate in my classes, what tools I want to exclude, and how to talk about those choices with my students.
