Portfolio Part: board games

Image

I chose board games to represent teaching and learning because everyone learns how to play a new board game differently. Some want to meticulously pour over the rules and learn lots of strategies before starting. Some want a friend who already knows how to play the game guide them through how it works. Others want to get just the basics and dive in to learn by playing, making mistakes along the way. It’s a good reminder that students learn differently, and that methods that are best for one student may not work as well for another.
