As you start your DF experience, we want to take some time to introduce you to some of the fundamental ideas and values that underpin the program. While DF is made up of a whole collection of modules, many of which will include opportunities to explore practical approaches to your teaching, the entire program is infused with an ethic of problem-posing pedagogy (questions before solutions), human-centered teaching and learning (faculty before courses), and a framework that considers how purpose, teaching, pedagogy, and design are related and intertwined.
Take some time to familiarize yourself with the DF philosophy and consider how it relates to your own teaching practices and values.
