Partner Prep is divided into five required core modules. Most modules include discussion questions, readings and resources, and activities. In each module, the Participation Guide walks participants through a suggested order of working through the module content.
COSA ORIENTATION
CoSAs will get onboarded into the CoLab’s web environments, learn the basics of staffing the office, and set up their profiles on the Partner Prep website.
INTRODUCTION TO PEDAGOGY
CoSAs will explore the purpose of teaching and learning, the study of pedagogy, and the role that the CoLab plays at PSU as a center for teaching and learning.
METHODS AND MINDSETS
CoSAs will explore some of the values, approaches, and practices that the CoLab supports. Students will also consider their values and developing role in the CoLab.
CLUSTER LEARNING
CoSAs will become familiar with the the three strands of Cluster Learning at PSU: interdisciplinarity, open education, and project-based learning.
PROJECTS AND REFLECTIONS
CoSAs will review their engagement, reflect on the experience, and set goals for their work in the CoLab. Students will be onboarded into initial project groups.
