This is an image we were asked to select from home during our Orientation Session for Design Forward. It is meaningful to me as a visual metaphor of the episode in Homer’s The Odyssey of Odysseus lashed to the mast of the ship so that he could listen to the Siren’s Song without being lured to his death. This metaphor of hearing the alluring deception of misinformation without being captivated by it is a useful one to me.
