We know not everyone is comfortable sharing video in Zoom, and we always encourage you to talk one-on-one with your professors about these concerns (if you’re comfortable doing so).

Even if you don’t turn on video in class, go ahead and set up a profile picture. You will need to be logged into your PSU Zoom account to do so, but once you’re logged in, it’s very simple.

The picture doesn’t necessarily even have to be of you — it could be of your pet, your favorite place, or what you had for dinner. You can even change these in response to stuff happening in class.
