Moodle is Plymouth State’s learning management system and used by many faculty. If you’ve taken classes before this year, you’ve likely encountered it before, but during the Covid19 pandemic, faculty are using it even more than usual to share content, post grades, accept assignments, and foster discussion. One of the things you may find most confusing is that there is no one way to set up Moodle or arrange a course; as a result, every course you’re in may be organized and presented differently. We encourage you to ask faculty to give a tour of their Moodle course if you’re having difficulty finding materials or assignments. In the meantime, you may also find these resources we’ve curated helpful.
- Uploading a video to a Moodle page or discussion forum.
- Embedding a video (from YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) to a Moodle page or discussion forum
- Modifying notification settings for discussion forum posts (useful if you’re getting a LOT of notifications)
- Updating your Moodle profile
