This module will take you beyond just setting your ePort — you will dive more deeply into using the Web as a tool for communicating complex ideas in unique ways.ย
Step 1: Learn about tools for unique Web communication. Here are some examples:
- blogs
- discussion boards
- Microsoft Teams
- Google Drive
- Slack
- anything else that allows people to communicate with each other online
Explore these tools and learn about what they let you create and communicate on the Web.ย
Step 2: Use one of these tools to create something unique that you share on your ePort. The topic/focus of what you create is up to you: it can be related to your major or something that’s personally important to you. Try to explore the pros and cons of a particular tool for communication.
Step 3: Present your exploration in class. Tell us about how you approached your tool(s), what challenges you faced, what worked well, and what you’d do differently.
