He blends insights from game design with the science of active learning techniques to create engaging and innovative experiences for his students. \n\nJoin Dr. Jason Charrette for a hands-on workshop to explore the use of game-based learning and role-play simulations to promote active learning\, problem-solving\, real-world application\, collaboration and communication\, and engagement and presence in the classroom. Workshop activities will include:\n\nImmersive Experience: Participants will actively engage in a role-play simulation\, experiencing firsthand the benefits of this approach for student learning.\n\nDesign Your Own Simulation: Drawing upon the workshop’s insights and participants’ disciplinary expertise\, participants will design a role-play simulation for their own class(es). \n\nWe have limited space\, so register today!Oops!
