SUMMARY:Collaborating Across Disciplines with the Proposed TIDE Certificate
DESCRIPTION:Faculty in the I&E Cluster have proposed a new TIDE Certificate (Transformative Innovation & Design Entrepreneurship)\, a 16-credit adventure in Entrepreneurship and Innovation open to any student\, any cluster\, any major & any discipline.  TIDE empowers students to realize their dreams\, blaze through their limits\, and realize their passions by creating value for others. Think Arts Entrepreneurship\, Meteorological Innovation\, Adventure Enterprises . . . \nIn this workshop\, we are excited to initiate a dialogue with humanities\, arts\, social science\, and science faculty. In this workshop\, we hope to explore how these 16 credits of dynamic applied experiential learning could support existing programs and students in the liberal arts. \nWorkshop Leaders: Deborah Brownstein\, Eric Spieth\, and Howard Frederick of the I&E Cluster
