Steps
- Assign or allow students to select 3-5 of the formats described in the Playlist of Explanatory Videos (or for added challenge, other formats) and have them create an infographic that would help their peers not in this course to understand the differences in purpose, process and how to locate resources in those formats.
- Share the results with the librarians, we would love to see what students come up with!
Considerations
- Here are some tools that students might find useful for completing this project:
- Canva is a great, browser-based tool for graphic design. It comes with many pre-designed templates and elements that students build on and modify.
- Piktochart is another browser-based tool, specifically for creating infographics. It also comes with pre-designed elements that students will find useful.
- Pixabay is a collection of royalty-free and public domain images and graphics.
- Noun Project is a collection of simple graphic elements that are free to use (as long as students give credit).
