The primary reason I signed up for this module was because, for my whole teaching career, I’ve recognized “incorporation of technology” to be an area where there is clear and tangible room for improvement. I teach a variety of classes. Graduate classes in our accredited AT program have loads of prescribed “standards” (really learning outcomes), but how I meet those is quite flexible. My undergrad Intro to AHS and Intro to Ex Sci classes has 5 weeks of content that is common across all sections in HHP, and 10 weeks with more flexibility to make it discipline specific. With the nature of my classes in mind, I’ve come up with a few goals:<\/p>\n

  1. Identify technologies that encourage student engagement (focus on FY students) that I can bring to the other faculty teaching the Intro classes in HHP to incorporate into common lessons and\/or assessments.<\/li>\n
  2. Add tools to my toolkit. Specifically, free tech tools to complement in-class lessons that can be used for group discussion, and small group work.<\/li>\n
  3.
