Hello everyone,
\nSince this is the perfect space to vent about negative experiences with technology, I will start with my Spectrum TV remote control. The thing looks like the panel of an airplane! I do not know who the designers are, but I often fantasize I am chasing them with this monstrous creation! The lesson learned here is to consider the end-user (such as our students) when we design our courses.
\nOn a more serious note, I have to say that the Hyflex format we used at some point during the pandemic was the most challenging time I have had as an educator. Simultaneously teaching students in the classroom and on Zoom while wearing a facemask was so stressful and exhausting that I gained weight and started losing my hair (as the picture in the link below attests). I admit that the issue was not necessarily the technology but the Hyflex format. <\/p>\n
