I have\u00a0 been ruminating on the idea that being able to better serve students means we have to serve ourselves first; paraphrasing the airline safety instructions ,when flying with young children if the oxygen masks deploy place you own on first. This isn&#8217;t to say we don&#8217;t take the needs and wants of students into consideration, we do but we need to do this in such a way that we are not ignoring our own.
