This module has been helpful to understanding teaching in different modalities. Better yet, learning in different modalities. While some take a negative view of online or distance teaching, I have been teaching in different modalities for years and there is always something to learn.
Key takeaways including thinking about online learning as a method sometimes of choice and sometimes due to necessity. There are learners that come from all backgrounds and abilities and we need to cater to those needs. We need to care for each student who is part of an online class and take the time to reach out for assistance.
