What are you hoping to learn more about?

I am hoping to learn about student-led and emergent learning experiences, and project-based learning.

What do you want to have time to work on?

I am teaching INCP for the first time and am nervous! I have taught TWP in the past, so feel like there is some carry over that will help me, but honestly find that class also a struggle. So I am hoping to have time to work on thinking through my INCP Signature Project: Eco-Anxiety and Hope for fall 2025.

Is there something you would like to redesign or rethink?

In both TWP and INCP courses, there tends to be this section of the course towards the middle/end that is completely open to allow for students to lead the class and work on their projects. But I have found leaving it totally unplanned and un-thought about is not a recipe for success. I would love to rethink how to help students through this phase of the course. What sorts of individual and group activities and assignments could I design to allow me to check in with students, or to allow students to check in with themselves or each other?
