College can be hard on your mental health. Your schedule is packed with classes, homework, and maybe a full or part time job on top of it. According to the National Education Association, during the 2020–2021 school year, more than 60% of college students met the criteria for at least one mental health problem. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, motivation, etc. you are not alone. I encourage you to reach out if you need help. I encourage you to find your support group, your people, at PSU because you don’t have to do this alone. As a designated "PSU Support Ambassador," I volunteer to help my students when they struggle to find their place at PSU or to deal with their mental or emotional health issues. Come see me anytime! And check out some of the resources below if you need support.
