College-level work can be very challenging, and it's normal to struggle, and even normal to fail occasionally. Without failure and struggle, it's hard to really learn and expand your universe. But that doesn't mean it feels good. Sometimes, you need help navigating the academic challenges you will face in college, and figuring out your next steps. Do you need to withdraw from a class? find a tutor for a course or get help with general study skills? meet with your professor or your advisor? Whatever you need to help you succeed, I am here to assist you. As a designated "PSU Support Ambassador," I volunteer to help my students when they struggle in my course, my program, or any course or program here at PSU. Come see me anytime! You can also start the journey to getting support by browsing the resources listed here.

Tutors

You can get a tutor for many of PSU's courses. These will generally be students who have taken the class in which you are struggling, done well, and been recommended by the professor as someone who would be a good tutor. Tutors are friendly, helpful, and FREE!

Disability Support

Do you have a learning disability that is making it tough for you to succeed in your courses? Or maybe you have a chronic illness or physical disability that is presenting challenges. Especially if you don't yet have a diagnosis or your diagnosis is new, you may need someone by your side to help you navigate the challenges. Campus Accessibility Services (CAS) recognizes disability as an aspect of diversity that is integral to society and to our campus community. CAS staff work with admitted PSU students to ensure equal access to PSU academic programs and services. Whether transitioning from high school, community college, or another university, it’s important to be aware of the process to request accommodations and/or auxiliary aids due to a disability or temporary health condition.
