How do I submit my thesis or dissertation to the Library?

Five Things to Know

  1. You need 2 printed paper copies to submit to the library, these will be cataloged and will become part of our collection.
  2. Any personal copies you would like to have bound, will also need to be printed paper copies submitted to the library.
  3. The cost for personal copies is $20 for each copy to be bound. Personal copies can be shipped to you for a $15.00 (flat rate shipping charge). Payment information link found on the Thesis/Dissertation order form.
  4. Paper quality: white acid free resume/thesis paper for the entire document (recommended: 20-30 lb. paper).
  5. If you have specific formatting questions, please consult with your thesis/dissertation advisor.

A Deeper Dive

  1. Fill out the Thesis order form or Dissertation order form to being the process.
  2. You will also need to email an electronic copy of your thesis or dissertation with the form.
  3. You must send an email to make an appointment before dropping off your printed copies to be bound.
  4. If you want your submission to be uploaded to the PSU online repository (Summit), you will also need to complete the Open Access Permission Form
  5. If you want your submission to be available through ProQuest, you will will also need to complete the Thesis/Dissertation Permission Form.
