• Read the syllabus for every class at the start of the semester
  • The class syllabus should be posted on the class Canvas site.  If you can’t find it, ask your professor
• Make sure you understand all the class assignments
  • Know the due dates
  • Know what % of your class grade each assignment is worth
  • Make an assessment ofhow much time and effort is involved for each
• Having this understanding from the start will help you organize your time

NOTE: Some professors don’t specify all assignments and deadlines until into the semester.  So, start with estimates and pay attention in class for relevant updates.
